I'm paying my remote hitters to get better

Starting tomorrow, I'm paying my Remote Results hitters to get better.

$1 a day. Every month. To complete the consistency challenge.

It's called the Consistent Habits Challenge. Here's how it works:

Every day, you do one thing that makes you better. Hit, lift, throw, stretch, read a book, journal. It doesn't have to be a huge session. It just has to be something.

Then you open the app, send me a message on what you worked on, and hit 'Complete' in the challenge for that day.

Log it the same day. You can't go back and log yesterday.

Do that for 90% of the month (can miss 2-3 days per month) and I send you an Amazon gift card for $1 per day of that month.

October has 31 days, so hit 28 of them and you get $31. It lands in your email within 3 days after the month ends.

Miss a day or two, you're fine. You get about 3 misses a month. Miss more than that and you start fresh on the 1st.

(Honestly, $31 won't change anybody's life. It's a reason to open the app on the days you don't feel like it. Those are the days that count.)

I've interviewed 450+ players and parents. The guys who end up playing at the next level almost all say the same thing. They showed up every day, even when it was boring, even when nobody was watching. Most of them weren't the most talented kid on their team. I sure wasn't.

One real thing a day, stacked for a year, is 365 reps most hitters never take. That's where the gap comes from.

The challenge runs the 1st through the last day of every month, forever. Every active Remote Results hitter is in automatically. A Challenge button shows up on your app home page on the 1st. Tap it and you're in.

One catch. If you join in the middle of the month, you can train, but you can't win until the next month starts.

So if you want in for October, today's the day.

If you're not in Remote Results yet, it's my remote hitting program. You send me video and texts in the app, I coach you on what I see and what you need. Once hitters get in, they stay. The average is 11 months.

Reply to this email with "I WANT IN" and I'll get you set up today so you're ready to go tomorrow.

Trey

P.S. Already in Remote Results? You don't need to do anything. Look for the Challenge button on your home page tomorrow morning and log your first day.

I'm teaching my kids these two things first. It would've changed everything for me. Most players work on the wrong thing their entire career. • They fix their stance • Adjust their load • Tweak their swing path The one that actually separates good from elite goes completely ignored. Your mind. Looking back, the most damaging thing in my development wasn't bad coaching or bad reps. It was the slow erosion of belief that came from a constant focus on what was wrong. A player who believes he's...

Like a lot of you know, I'm always figuring out what's best for the hitter. Some need to rotate more. Some need to rotate less. For some, it depends on the week. So I built both. Like I do for every hitter I coach. Now you pick. Need to rotate more? A 90 mph fastball gets to the plate in 0.4 seconds. Josh was bringing 5 swing thoughts with him. He’s a sophomore in Remote Results. In the cage he hits like Tarzan. In games he hits like Jane. This week I posted a graphic. The average hitter carries 8 thoughts: grip, stance, hands, Dad’s tip, coach’s tip, don’t pull off, be ready, hunt your pitch. The elite hitter focuses on the last 2. (The first 6 are real. I coach every one. They just live in the cage.) Here’s the split I gave Josh. Cage:...
